Growing up in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Kiona was immersed in an entrepreneurial and creative environment, but it wasn't until she moved to Raleigh that she discovered her true passion for designing and creating jewelry. After working for a local custom jewelry designer for years, she decided to embark on her own creative journey in 2004 and established Lucky Accessories, soon to be rebranded as Rising Jewelry.

Situated in a sunny Studio in Downtown Raleigh, Kiona continues to pursue her passion, designing and creating jewelry that brings joy and a sense of connection. The commitment to sustainability is reflected in the use of repurposed materials, aligning with the values of nature and purpose.
